"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What an absolutely unforgettable experience! Jason and I stayed in the Honeymoon Yurt while celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary, and we could not have chosen a more magical place. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty, tranquility, and incredible history of House Island. We spent our days exploring Fort Scammel, wandering through the fascinating tunnels and bunkers, hiking the scenic trails, searching for sea glass along the beautiful beaches, and taking in breathtaking views of Casco Bay. Evenings were equally special—watching spectacular sunsets, stargazing beside a crackling fire, and simply enjoying the peace and romance that this unique island provides. "It was a last minute decision to stay at Fortland. But what a great decision it was. This was definitely a new experience for me. Very cool place. Easy access a 10 minute boat ride. The Fortland staff were extremely accommodating and very knowledgeable. The beaches were great and the wildlife was amazing. Would highly recommend."
