"Beautiful and peaceful Bug Light Park! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing views of Portland Head Light, Fort Gorges, sailboats, and Casco Bay. Today I saw the famous Osprey nest with two Ospreys and Common Terns on the pier railing at sunset - incredible wildlife watching! Perfect for family walk, dog walk, photography, and sunset photos at golden hour. Very clean, free parking, restrooms available, picnic tables, playground for kids, and dog-friendly. Best spot in South Portland for relaxing and bird watching. Must visit!"
"Visiting Portland Breakwater Lighthouse, also known as Bug Light, was a great stop while exploring the Portland area. The lighthouse has a unique design compared to many others in Maine and sits beautifully along the waterfront at Bug Light Park. The park offers wonderful views of Portland Harbor and the city skyline, making it a perfect place for photos, a walk along the water, or just relaxing and enjoying the coastal scenery. It’s a peaceful spot with plenty of open space and a great place to experience a bit of Maine’s maritime history. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the Portland area."
"It’s a great spot to relax and enjoy some fresh sea breeze! The lighthouse is quite picturesque, and the surrounding nature is lovely. Plus, the parking lot is one of the largest in the city."
