"Highly recommend! We held a 2 day business gathering for 24 people at Ballast, and the event space was perfect for our function. The building is beautiful, and has lots of architectural character. Michelle, the owner, was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is ideal, easily walkable from any downtown hotel and near lots of amazing shops and restaurants. We used Experience Maine Culinary for catering and the food was marvelous, and they were very accommodating of various dietary restrictions. Portland is a delightful city, and Ballast is a shining example of her charm and beauty."
