AC Hotel Portland Downtown/Waterfront, ME

"We were thrilled to have the AC Hotel in Portland serve as our wedding block of hotel rooms for our daughter’s wedding at the end of July (the busiest week of the summer). As we planned the wedding block, Abby and the AC communicated quickly and efficiently with helpful guidance. Given how busy this time of year is in Portland, we (and our guests) were grateful for the price adjustment and guaranteed rooms available. The rooms were attractive and clean with suites being extra special. Throughout our stay the staff members were great - friendly and going out of their way to be helpful. A Farewell Sunday brunch at the hotel was a big success. The food was excellent, room convenient and comfortable, and again, staff super. I only heard positives from our family and friends about their stays this weekend"

Sebastian at the front desk along with his colleagues were so kind and friendly and really take the customer experience to another level. I would highly recommend staying here for that alone. Not to mention that the property is waterfront and located near old port and the water. My family had an amazing stay"

"This was a five star experience before we even arrived in Portland. We received a welcome email with a list of spots to check out in Portland and notice that there was a free shuttle that would pick us up from the airport. They asked if we were celebrating any special occasions which we were, so I let them know it was my fiancées birthday weekend. The shuttle arrived at the airport within a few minutes of us arriving at baggage claim and the driver was a great guy. We were able to check-in early around 10 am and they had a hand written birthday card along with some local chocolate and candies for my fiancée. The room itself was spotless and we were impressed with the level of cleanliness. The location couldn’t be any better with 3 of the top restaurants in town only a few blocks away. We got caught in some rain and they had plenty of umbrellas available for guests to borrow. There was free coffee and tea in the lobby along with water carafes you could take to your room to stay hydrated. Check out was not until noon giving us enough time to get breakfast and head back to clean up before check out. Even got a ride back to the airport with another awesome driver. A+ experience."
