"An absolutely delightful experience. It's not easy to find swanky places that are friendly to both dogs and young children, but The Press Hotel does an excellent job of making everyone feel welcomed while keeping the experience elevated. From the moment Austin helped us get our bags from the valet up to the room (even grabbing some extra towels as we arrived in the middle of biblical rains) to Tim checking us in to John's easy conversation and excellent mixology at the bar, the service was on point. We were greeted by a bottle of bubbles and chocolate in our room to celebrate our anniversary, which created a lovely special touch. And throughout the weekend, our golden retrievers were greeted like royalty and our daughter was always given special attention. Our king suite was luxurious, with some of the most comfortable beds we've had outside our own home. And the location cannot be beat, with iconic restaurants and activities within skipping distance. Truly a spectacular experience, and one I dearly hope to repeat."

"Our group didn't stay at The Press Hotel, instead we ducked into the bar after our Shipyard 5K and half-marathon races. We picked it because we were tired, and it was convenient, but we happened upon a real gem. Classy? Yes, very much so, but also quite warm and welcoming. We were still in our running attire, medals around our necks and our half-marathoners still a bit sweaty. "No problem, have a seat at the bar and make yourselves at home." We didn't need any further encouragement! Peter, the bartender, served beer to our friends, and prepared gin and tonics for us. The drinks were nice and strong, a "London-proper" gin and tonic! The service was friendly and fast, everyone on staff that we interacted with was delightful. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we returned a couple days later while exploring the city. We're definitely returning to The Press Hotel bar next time we're in town for a race week!"

"Absolutely loved this hotel, the vibe and their service. Great location allowing for leisurely walking to shops and eateries. Went with my family and we had two rooms. Both rooms were clean and comfy. Joey at the front desk totally made our trip with his attentive service, friendly demeanor and knowledge of the area. Valets were super helpful packing us up in the car in the rain! We aren’t in Portland often but definitely going back there if we are."
