"I went to Aura for the first time to see Tom Kiefer and it was a great show. There is a lot to like about this club, it seems fairly new and well maintained, the staff were friendly, and despite it being nearly full attendance I had no problem getting drinks or getting to the bathroom. But for a concert with general admission there is a massive drawback - a lack of areas where you can actually see the stage. The problem is the way the venue itself is setup. There are a select number “first come” seats, so if you get there early and don’t move you can get a great view from the seated area. But on the ground level there is a modest amount of floor space, with additional viewing on the top balcony. But because it is such a steep angle from the balcony to the stage you literally cannot see unless you are at the very front, even if you are taller than the person in front you. It seems like the club is trying to offer a lot within a limited footprint, but isn’t designed optimally for the audience when the show is full. To be fair, it can be a challenge to find a decent vantage point at any general admission venue, but typically there is enough floor space so that even if you aren’t near the stage you can still see from further away, it this club’s design os an additional challenge for attendees. So if you plan to see a show at this venue either make sure it’s not near capacity, or get there extra early to get a good spot in a seat or at the front of the stage, and then don’t plan to move."

"I went for an event. Staff were well organized and cordial. Events have a metal detector. I wasn't aware of that and have tools in my purse at all times. They were able to take a pic of my ID and the things I couldn't have - then they put them with security until I left and picked them up. I was super stressed about it (bc I had no idea it was a thing) and they were patient with me and calmly explained the process. When I left there was a guy at a separate entrance with my things - and lots of other people's things. He was nice and had a good sense of humor about it. The venue itself is basic but had some really cool features. There's lots of cool lights and glitter surfaces - which I love. The bar - there's multiple - has a top with little colored lights coming through. The service was fast and friendly, a pretty good selection, and the prices were totally reasonable for the area the venue is in. I'd definitely recommend going to events here. They have it together and keep it professional."
