Ritual Hair Studio

"Let me just preface this by saying I haven't had a professional hair cut in more years than I can remember. I usually wake up with a chip on my shoulder and just hack at my hair until I feel better. My daughter made this appointment for me as a Christmas gift because being a new hair stylist herself, she knows exactly what I am unhhh... Not capable of. She did some research about Portland because we are not from here and settled on ritual, because she thought I would feel comfortable and after talking with stylist she was confident they would do a good job. She was right. Dakota makes you feel right at home, in fact the shop itself is very "home-y". He asked what I wanted and most importantly what I liked about my hair. Nobody ever asked me that before cutting my hair and it really made me feel heard. He did an amazing job with a very difficult thick long and curly head of hair. It feels so much lighter and healthier. He also guarantees his work. You can return within a week if you need to make adjustments somewhere. 10/10 would recommend and will return."

"Great experience. Dakota got me back to my natural hair color (literally like an exact match!!), I love it so much. Dakota made time for me on the schedule to fit me in before I left the state AND made mobility accommodations for me. Would 100% recommend getting your hair done here, it is a lovely & welcoming environment and Dakota is an expert."

"Was in between haircutters, and Ritual caught my eye. The studio atmosphere is both welcoming and professional. Dakota was exceptional in his attention to detail, and enjoyed his conversational style. I also noticed the entire staff connecting to their clientele in a genuine manner. Would highly recommend."
