Watami

"One of my favorite places to get takeout in Portland! Have been in-person once to each location and gotten takeout/delivery from this Portland location 7+ times; each time has been exceptional. Great quality and reasonable prices, the rolls are the stars of the show. I especially recommend the Watami Special and Amazing Mango rolls! For kitchen options, the veggie soba is very comforting."

"Service was prompt and excellent. The nigiri sushi was some of the best I’ve had in this country. The tempera was exceptional, very light batter and fresh out of the pot. If the traditional grated daikon and ginger had been served with the tempera dipping sauce it would have been as good as any tempera in Japan."

"Amazing food in walking distance from our hotel (Hyatt). Excellent sushi selection, and noodle bowls were amazing and full of flavor. The dinosaur egg is a must try!"
