"The first thing I did when I moved to Portland was to find a cosmetologist that could do great color and cut. NOT all blondes are created equally and Dathan is spot on to what I wanted! I feel like I have a high expectation because my sister is a cosmetologist and had always done my hair back home and I also worked in a salon for several years. As you can see in the picture I posted, he has taken the time and effort to continue education to perfect his craft/skill. That meant something to me, because I wanted someone that had passion for his craft. I am always happy with my hair afterwards and, honestly, I really enjoy the conversations we have. He has a small salon, (easy to find parking) VERY COVID FRIENDLY. Just the two of us in there. No one is booked into my time slot and I have caught him every time, cleaning/disinfecting between clients. Mask are worn the whole time. I highly recommend Dathan at his salon Dathan Hunter Salon."
