Fore River Sanctuary

"Absolutely gorgeous park and we visited at the perfect time in the fall. The hikes we did were beautiful, especially the one to the waterfall. Unfortunately it was pretty dried up but I bet it is even more incredible in the spring time. The trails could definitely benefit from some clearer signage and better maps, but we made our way around without getting too lost. There wasn't really a parking lot but we were able to park on the side of the road nearby. Always remember to carry your trash out with you and leave the park better than you found it!"

"Nice area for dog walking, bird watching and taking in nature. Paths were clearly marked"

"Beautiful wooded trail system right in the heart of Portland. Unfortunately, Jewel falls was a disappointment due to the fact that there hadn't been rain in about a month. Can't wait to go back to see it when it's in its full glory."
