"This is a really cool monument that I was not expecting to see at all when I made it to Bug Light Park. Lots of interesting and not widely known history here. I wish it was covered because it was raining when I got there, but it’s still a cool spot! If you’re going to visit Bug Light Park, I wouldn’t skip out on exploring this memorial. There’s a lot to learn here about the area and about the US!"

"Great place to visit. This memorial is easy to access and educational. The memorial looks over the Portland Harbor. The sculpture itself makes you really understand the size of the ships constructed. There is a good amount of parking."
