"This is a fantastic historic spot to explore! It’s surrounded by nature, and the views of the bay are absolutely stunning, not to mention the lighthouse and the sea. There are plenty of benches to relax on and soak up the refreshing sea breeze. Just a heads-up, the parking lot can get crowded."

"I came with the family to see the lighthouse, fort, and walk along the beach. I recommend planning to do something else in the area along with visiting the fort as it's not some grand attraction, it's just a dilapidated old fort and it was difficult for me to picture it in it's prime from what is left. It would be great if there was some signage with an old photo of what once was, but I didn't see such a sign today. There are breathtaking views of the water from the top of the hill, though."
